Base gasket is one of things that you can change and hope for the best.. 🙂 thickness of the gasket have influence on engine angles and performance, it is the cheapest way to make something on your engine. Unfortunately change is not resulting in gain always.. Happy playing with gaskets! at least this engine is air cooled and there is no messing around with liquids..
